The gratitude I have for being elected to the Bonner Springs City Council will remain with me forever. As a collaborative governing body committed to improving our city, we have accomplished much to be proud of! Respect for each other and genuinely caring for our community bring us together to accomplish the common good.

• Funded our City Departments, while lowering the City tax levy due to economic development growth - 5 years in a row of lowering the City’s tax levy

• Invested over $3+ million for updated equipment for Police, Fire, and Public Works

• Transitioned our Fire Department to full-time

• A+ ratings on our finance audits

• $500+ million development agreement that directly benefits the City now, and in the future

• $25+ million of investments into our historic downtown

• Invested in a new, $30 million water treatment plant

• Refigured City fees to make them small business-friendly

• Personally pushed and succeeded for a stronger City + Community engagement

• Implemented an updated, well-earned pay scale for City staff

• Completed major street projects and overdue waterline projects

• Passed the Common Consumption ordinance during special events to strengthen attendance & benefit our small businesses

• A public-private partnership for the development of a new City park and splash pad

• Launched a public-private partnership program for small businesses for façade improvements

• Secured needed housing: moderate-income apartments, townhomes, and senior living

• Cleaned up outdated City codes & ordinances
